We regularly loose magnets because of the thin edges of the hole where the ring goes through. These new ones look much more substantial and in the long run I hope they will be value for money by not breaking. They do not have the silver edge as shown in the picture.

The magnetic tag is used to operate the electromagnetic cat flaps so that only the cat wearing the magnet can move in or out, helping to keep any stray animals out.
